To create my monster I used the well used and costumed pinch pot method. I started by rounding some material of clay and turning it into a pot by gently pinching the sides with my thumb. Then I created four even legs to attach to the base of my pot. I used a metal rib to scratch before I attached the legs. The legs give my monster height and personality. Another addition I added was making a large under bite with teeth specifically made out of B-Clay (White). I wanted to add humor to my piece by adding the under jaw and teeth to ironize the stereotypical Crest smile. My purpose of my monster is to symbolize uniqueness and to embrace want makes you different from someone else.
To the right is one of many pieces of artwork
